Supporting a local High School with their hospice fundraising drive.
The team at Supply Desk Brighton have been getting active and supporting one of their local schools, Oriel High School, with their year long fundraising drive to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley.
The school are competing in a range of sporting events throughout the academic year with an aim to raise £5000 for the charity. Since the beginning of term, a member of Oriel High School staff has participated in an event just about every weekend. These events range from triathlons to 10Ks, obstacles course runs to marathons.
Supply Desk Brighton, through their close working relationship with the school, became involved with the Great Big Oriel Park Run on the Saturday 20th January. A 5K park run which aimed to get as many supporters, staff, parents, and friends, involved as possible.
Helen Everitt, Deputy Head Teacher at Oriel High School said ‘Having spoken to both Oli Green and Aaron Blackwell; I discovered that many members of the Brighton Supply Desk team, who have worked with Oriel since the school opened in 2004, shared our Oriel Super 7 team’s love of running. We were therefore thrilled when Aaron, Mia and Glenn agreed to run with Oriel.’
The Supply Desk Brighton team members joined the Oriel Super 7 team and were proud to run alongside them and help support the school’s fundraising aims.
