Supply Desk Donates New Bikes to Bradford School
Celebrating attendance in a local Bradford Primary School.
Supply Desk are sponsoring Fagley Primary School in Bradford and their initiative designed to encourage school attendance. Supply Desk will provide a new bike for the school’s half termly attendance prize draw rewarding a pupil with 100% attendance.
Clare Othman, Operations Director, Supply Desk was the driving force behind the company involvement with the project ‘As a business, Supply Desk are committed to supporting our schools and local communities with initiatives to improve pupil progress. We are proud to be sponsoring Fagley Primary School with this fantastic scheme to reward school attendance, which we know is a key factor in a child’s ability to achieve their full potential.’
The Supply Desk Leeds Team, led by Branch Manager, Ravinder Jandu, were invited to attend the school’s first 2018 assembly on Friday 5th January. During this assembly they donated two new bikes to the school’s Cycling Club in a further bid to support the school and its pupils.
Claire Greenwood, Family Liaison Officer at Fagley Primary School explained the impact of Supply Desk’s donation ‘The children at Fagley Primary school are delighted with the two new bikes donated by Supply Desk. These have been put straight to use in the school’s weekly cycling club and will be used throughout the year for the many cycling events we have planned. Having two new bikes means we are confident that the children are safe when riding. We can spend less time doing safety checks on older bikes and more time having fun outside cycling. Huge thanks to Supply Desk for their support with the attendance prize draw and our new bikes!’
