Supply Desk Sponsors Golden Apples Education Award
Supply Desk are proud to announce their sponsorship of the Teaching Assistant of the Year Category at the Grimsby and Scunthorpe Telegraph’s Golden Apples Education Awards.
Launched in December 2017, the Golden Apples Awards are a celebration of education and learning in North Lincolnshire. Hosted by the Grimsby and Scunthorpe Telegraph, they seek to recognise and reward the skills and hard work that go into providing education in the region. The awards also serve to raise the profile of outstanding teaching in North & North East Lincolnshire.
Supply Desk Lincolnshire are currently working with several schools in the region and are delighted to be involved with this fantastic event. As providers of high calibre teaching and support staff, Supply Desk have chosen to sponsor the Teaching Assistant of the Year category. This award will be presented to a teaching assistant who deserves recognition for the positive contribution they make to their educational establishment.
Clare Othman, Supply Desk’s Operations Director said, ‘The impact Teaching Assistants can make in relation to pupil outcomes, for pupils with SEN, in attainment and for behaviour is profound. Supply Desk are proud to recognise the contribution to pupil education and support that TA’s make’.
The Golden Apples Education Awards ceremony takes place on the 19th April at the Forest Pines Hotel in Scunthorpe. The shortlist of finalists is expected to be announced this week. Supply Desk will be attending the event to present the Teaching Assistant of the Year award to the winner.
If you’re a teacher or support staff member looking for work in the North Lincolnshire/Scunthorpe region, why not come along to our Open Day on the 4th April?
