Supporting behaviour and inclusion within Key Stage 3/4
Sports Coaches, Social Workers, Army, Police, Boxers, Door Staff and Graduates welcomed to apply.
A full time Behaviour mentor opportunity has become available in a larger than average seconadry school in the Amersham area. The school is looking to recruit a learning support assistant with transferrable skills or previous experience supporting pupils with barriers to learning, who display challenging behaviour. Whilst supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis, as a learning support assistant, you would be expected to show a calm, caring and nurturing approach as building positive relationships is key to improving behaviour within school.
The school is located in the Amersham area and due to an increase in the number of children displaying behavioural challenges so far this academic year, the special needs co-ordinator wants to interview and recruit a behaviour mentor as soon as possible. If you are a graduate of Psychology, come from a profession with transferrable skills or have experience of working with children with challenging behaviours through social work or care work, you would be welcomed to apply for the role.
