An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Bradford based primary school, to join a dedicated and caring behaviour and pastoral team as a behaviour support worker. The school has an excellent reputation with a ‘good’ Ofsted rating; situated with good transport links, it would be perfect for any motivated individual who wants to ‘make a difference’. The position would be full time starting immediately with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year.
The role entails…
Specialist teaching to support SEMH (Social, emotional and mental health) and EBD (emotional and behavioural difficulties) students, this high-quality teaching enables pupils to make rapid progression
A varied role working in behaviour management areas and classrooms with pupils
Support colleagues in addressing the needs of those pupils who need particular help with behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning
Working with individual pupils and groups, implementing intervention programmes to raise awareness of appropriate behaviours and responses
