Care Support Assistant – Swanage

Supply Desk are working with a school in Swanage that has a proud tradition of supporting students between the ages of 7 – 19 with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorders) and Asperger’s to gain qualifications and to become more independent.

Salary: £85 – £115 per day

Location: Swanage, Dorset

Contract type: Full Time (40hrs) – 12 Hour shift patterns

Contract term: Temporary to Permanent

As a Care Support Assistant, you’ll be a part of a hardworking and unified team, helping children and young people to make the most of their many strengths. Your role will be to support our children and young people to achieve their personal targets and be the best that they can be.

The schools young people access the community both in Education and Leisure time, using their life skills around the town, and support the local community by volunteering in shops or restaurants.

The school is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Swanage, Dorset with educational facilities and community homes on site – you will need access to a car in order to access this location.

Supply Desk are looking to recruit committed, empathetic and engaging care support teams that will deliver a model of positive behaviour support to empower our young people to make a positive change in their lives and to create a better independence for themselves.

What do we need from you?

Successful candidates will be part of a large supportive team who can work within care, an Educational Setting and Therapy Sessions. By supporting each other’s practice to deliver the very best residential and educational services to those with complex needs; including ASD & Asperger’s.
