Cover Supervisor
Graduate Cover Supervisor, Secondary Schools – Hastings area
Location: Hastings, East Sussex.
Pay: £100 – £140 per day
Contract: Full-time and Part-time available.

About the role:
Supply Desk are working with secondary schools in Hastings, and the surrounding area, placing talented and hard-working individuals into the right schools to assist in raising attainment standards locally. Schools are seeking reliable and dedicated educators to help make sure the new academic year continues smoothly! As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you would be able to choose the days you work, in the schools you want to work – simply leave the rest to Supply Desk.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Deliver content in a committed and engaging fashion in your given subject.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
- Lead classes in accordance with school ethos, ensuring respect and inclusivity in the learning process.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute positively to the overall educational experience.
- Maintain clear and thorough feedback and planning records.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
- Hold a clear DBS, or be able to obtain one.
- Be a committed team player.
- Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content.
- Have strong communication and rapport-building skills.
- Be enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom.
