Supply Desk have an exciting vacancy for a newly qualified or experienced Design and Technology, Resistant Materials Teacher in a secondary school located in the Thurrock area.
Due to expansion, the school have a new vacancy available for a motivated and talented Resistant Materials Teacher in their high achieving Design and Technology department.
The school is large and Ofsted rated ‘Good’ with a very friendly and nurturing environment. They are effective in all areas including teaching, learning, assessment, leadership and management as well as achieving good outcomes for their students. The school believes in achieving excellence, being creative, kind and hardworking and instill this in both students and staff. Students are developed into confident learners who are prepared for life after school regardless of their background. They recognise that the success of their students depends on a well developed staff team and offer regular opportunities for CPD and programmes of study for new teachers.
To be considered for this role in the Thurrock area, you must:
- Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivilent
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
- Have the desire to work in a demanding but rewarding school
- Be able to deliver lessons on resistant materials at KS3,4 and 5 if able
