Early Years Teacher Required in Stockton-on-Tees March 2019

Are you ready to go the extra mile by encouraging and inspiring children through their most crucial development stage?

Supply Desk is looking for a friendly and hardworking Early Years Teacher to join an improving primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. The role will be for 2 terms. The school will consider applicants who are NQTs and experienced teachers.

This role requires a good Early Years teacher and someone who has experience of working within EYFS. This is a great place to work, with a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic. These opportunities don’t come around too often!

Job Description…

  • Deliver and plan lessons, create learning resources and maintaining classroom standards

  • Co-planning with other teachers and working alongside teaching assistants

  • Encouraging pupils’ development and understanding with effective lessons

  • Marking children’s work and undertaking assessments

  • Maintaining discipline and encouraging good behaviour

Person Specification…

  • Have a  passion for providing children with innovative teaching to support their learning and development

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum 

  • The ability to create an engaging curriculum, which will excite and inspire pupils

  • Experience teaching in EYFS.

  • Team player with an open attitude to learning

  • High Expectations of themselves and children
