Supply Desk Teaching Agency are urgently looking to recruit fluent Welsh speakers who are degree educated and are interested in working in schools. Demand for staff is currently very high so this is a great opportunity to build experience or make a career change! The majority of fluent Welsh staff who have joined us recently have gone on to secure long-term roles.
I am looking to recruit fluent Welsh speakers to work in secondary schools across the Cardiff area as unqualified / cover teachers. Whether you are looking for a full time, part time or flexible role, we would love to hear from you and help you to progress forward in your career.
Your role will initially be covering day to day and short term positions in Cardiff schools as an unqualified teacher to ensure that pupils receive a consistently high level of education in a safe and stimulating learning environment. The work will usually be set for you by the class teacher, your job will be to manage the class whilst they complete it. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a school, especially if you are thinking of applying for a PGCE, and get a taste for what it is like to be a class teacher!
What you’ll need to succeed
- At least 6 weeks experience working with children desirable
- Fluent in Welsh
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Be educated to degree level
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
