Fluent Welsh Teaching Assistant / LSA – Cardiff
Are you looking to work as a fluent Welsh teaching assistant/LSA in Welsh medium schools in Cardiff and the surrounding areas?
Are you dedicated to ensuring that children receive the best possible learning experience?
Supply Desk are looking to recruit several enthusiastic fluent Welsh teaching assistants to work in welsh medium primary and secondary schools across Cardiff. These roles are all full-time, long-term roles beginning in September and lasting at least until Christmas, but likely for the academic year. For the right candidates, the roles could become permanent.
Your role would be ensuring that children receive a consistently high quality of education in a safe and stimulating learning environment. You will need to be a passionate teaching assistant who strives to guide children of all abilities to reach their full potential and have a good level of spoken and written English and Maths. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with young people and make a difference in their education.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 6 weeks working with children desirable but not essential
- Fluent Welsh
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
