We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher who is eager to take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring a passion for the subject.
- Plan and implement creative curriculum activities tailored to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback to support individual student progress.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and academic growth.
- Employ excellent classroom management techniques to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Engage in collaborative planning with colleagues and participate in wider school initiatives and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Substantial experience teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4 students.
- A proven track record of effective classroom management and an inclusive teaching approach.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of Geography.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
