Position: Geography Teacher – Full Time – £31,350 – £47,839
Location: Chesham
Start Date: January 2025

About the Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards.
  • Teach a variety of topics within physical, human, and environmental geography.
  • Use a range of teaching methods, from interactive activities to group discussions, to engage students.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and learning.
  • Maintain discipline in the classroom and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for geography and related subjects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting young people in their academic journey.
  • Previous experience in teaching is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to commute to Chesham and nearby areas.
