It may come as a shock that 1 in 5 school-aged children are unable to read. Supply Desk are hoping to support schools in changing this statistic through the introduction of their ‘Love to Read’ programme. This programme aims to support children with their confidence in reading and improve their general focus, love and motivation in schools. We are looking for people with a passion for learning and reading to support children on a 121 basis for up to 10 weeks.
The areas we are looking to recruit in include; Withington, Levenshulme and Walley Range. The schools we work with are hoping to make use of the NTP funding and make up for any learning lost through school closures by providing 121 reading intervention.
