Supply Desk are currently working closely with a large, 2 form entry primary school in North Manchester M8. The school was graded ‘good’ and has a fantastic reputation with the community. The school has excellent resources, a supportive leadership team and fantastic team of teachers and pupils.

The school are looking to employ a HLTA to assist the Key Stage 1 department. Your responsibilities will include assisting with day to day activities in the classroom such as setting up the class for activities, planning and organising classroom displays, assisting with guided reading and intervention groups. You must be comfortable at covering classes in the teacher’s absence when required.   The ideal candidate must have a vast knowledge of phonics schemes and phases and have experience working with young children in an educational setting.
