A really impressive SEN school in High Wycombe is searching for a Learning mentor who is experienced in working with pupils with SEN / PMLD and disabilities.
They are looking for someone who is passionate, empathetic and has a real interest in progressing students’ learning. Typically, the pupils at this special at school for pupils aged 12-18 will have a diagnosis of Autism, and many will have additional complex needs / PMLD SEMH.
The school provides excellent levels of care and education for pupils with profound, severe, and often complex learning difficulties, and will also have other associated needs including physical disabilities and medical conditions. All pupils have an EHCP or a statement of special educational needs.

• £68-90 a day
You will be supporting these students within the classroom alongside the class teacher, you will be working within a school environment. You must be prepared for challenges throughout the day and be able to support when needed.
