Location: Reading
Hours: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
Days: 5 days a week
An Outstanding School is looking for a Teaching Assistant full of enthusiasm and experienced in Early Years. This afternoon only role offers a flexibility needed if you have other responsibilities. Easy access to public transport, modern facilities and spacious classrooms make working there pleasant. Very supportive leadership team promotes professional development.
On a day-to-day basis, the Early Years Teaching Assistant will report to the Reception Class Teachers. The Head of Early Years will be responsible for the Early Years Teaching Assistant’s PPDP. The Early Years Teaching Assistant will be required to work with children predominantly in the Reception Classes.
-Assist in teaching an agreed timetable as set out by the Head of Early Years/Reception Class Teachers.
-Work closely with Reception Class Teachers on a day to day basis.
-Work collaboratively with other colleagues. 4. Actively support the smooth running of the Reception Classes on a day to day basis.
-Implement effectively all safeguarding and child protection policies and practices.
