About the Role
Are you passionate about languages and culture? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in RCT. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students to explore and appreciate different languages and cultures, equipping them with valuable communication skills for the future. You will deliver engaging lessons, cultivate an inclusive classroom environment, and support students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in French, Spanish, or German, in line with the curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress, tailoring your approach to meet diverse learning needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and culturally enriched classroom environment.
- Develop interactive resources and activities to engage students in their language learning journey.
- Contribute to the wider school community through events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
About You
We are looking for an MFL Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to inspiring a love for languages. The ability to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment is essential.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in MFL.
- Experience teaching French, Spanish, or German at secondary level.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to teaching, with a commitment to student success.
- Passion for promoting cultural understanding and language skills.
