Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore their musical potential through practical activities, performances, and composition.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in concerts, assemblies, and extracurricular music activities.
About You
We are looking for a Music Teacher who can inspire students, cultivate their talents, and create an enduring passion for music.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialisation in Music.
- Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary school level.
- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive approach to teaching.
