Nursery Teaching Assistant / LSA – Newport

We are currently working with a primary school in Newport who require a teaching assistant to work in their nursery full-time, beginning in January. The role is long-term and will last at least one term and possibly until the end of the academic year. As the role is supporting the rising 3’s, the ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. You will need to be a passionate teaching assistant who strives to guide children of all abilities to reach their full potential and have a good level of spoken and written English and Maths. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with young people and make a difference in their education.
What you’ll need to succeed
- School based experience in a teaching assistant role desirable
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
