Primary Teaching Assistant / LSA – Caerphilly

Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Secondary, Primary and SEN education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of English and Welsh medium schools across Cardiff, Newport and the valleys. We are currently looking to recruit Primary teaching assistants, and will happily accept applications from graduates and experienced teaching assistants.
Your role would be covering positions in KS1 and/or KS2, ensuring that children receive a consistently high quality of education in a safe and stimulating learning environment. You will need to be a passionate teaching assistant who strives to guide children of all abilities to reach their full potential and have a good level of spoken and written English and Maths. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with young people and make a difference in their education, with a potential for long-term and permanent roles.
What you’ll need to succeed
- CACHE or NCFE teaching assistant qualification
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
