Your role as a Primary Teacher or Teaching Assistant would be ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. School closures as result of COVID-19 have widened the UK Primary disadvantage gap, and schools are desperately seeking dedicated staff to help them support our country’s young people. Supply Desk are committed to this vision and, with your help, our mission is to keep teaching staff in classrooms. Primary Teachers and Primary Teaching Assistants have never been more valuable!

What you’ll need to succeed:

Primary Teacher:

–          Experience teaching in a Primary school as a Primary Teacher.

–          Passion for helping young people in their education.

–          QTS as a Primary Teacher.

–          DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply. ESSENTIAL for working in schools.

–          Classroom management skills.

–          Knowledge of the National Curriculum as a Primary Teacher.

Primary Teaching Assistant:

–          Experience teaching in a Primary school as a Primary Teaching Assistant.

OR

–          Teaching Assistants may have experience working with young people not in a school setting, such as caring or youth volunteering.

–          Attentiveness and patience.

–          DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply. ESSENTIAL for working in schools.

–          Supportive attitude for the class Teacher and pupils.
