We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will have a strong background in religious education, a commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment, and the ability to inspire students of all backgrounds. Your role:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Create a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, encouraging student participation and critical thinking.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.

Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.

Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have QTS and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • A deep enthusiasm for Religious Studies and a desire to inspire this passion in your students.
  • Proven experience teaching KS3 Religious studies, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Ability to design engaging and innovative lessons that captivate students’ imaginations.
  • A UK right to work
  • An Enhance Child and Adult DBS (or willing to obtain one)
