Are you looking for part time work in a local Primary School?
Are you hoping to make the step into teaching?
Would you like experience working with children?
I am working with schools across the Bury area within Manchester, who are recruiting for a number of Reading Specialist Teaching Assistants to deliver specific ‘Love 2 Read’ reading intervention programmes on a 1:1 basis with Primary School children.
The areas we are hoping to recruit in are the surrounding areas around Bury within the Manchester and Lancashire area. The schools in these areas are hoping to make use of the NTP funding and make up for any learning lost through school closures by providing 121 reading intervention.
The ‘Love 2 Read’ reading intervention programme will offer training to any candidate and as such, make the positions of reading specialist teaching assistant available to people with little experience of working in a school but with the passion and desire to support pupils.
This is ideal for someone who is wanting a stepping stone into teaching or an experienced teaching assistant who wants to use their skills and experience to engage pupils into improving their reading. It is also a fantastic role for graduates seeking experience within schools while looking for their next career steps.
The role will commence in September 2021 and continue until the end of the Christmas term.
