A secondary school in Southampton are looking to recruit a full time RE teacher to start after October half term on a long term contract until the end of July 2021. The successfully appointed RE teacher will be expected to teach up to GCSE level for the duration of the cover with applications being accepted from teachers of all experience levels. For this role we can pay to scale for the right teacher.
The school is known for being supportive of all teachers with the leadership team being praised for their forward-thinking style and supportive nature. The school recently became part of a large nationwide trust and is receiving additional support from other local schools in the trust.
Applications are encouraged from those which hold fully qualified teacher status and also able to teach RE across KS3 and KS4, the school are open to teachers with varied teaching experience and are happy for NQTs to apply.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. You must be have a DBS on the Update service or be happy to apply for a new one.
