The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant
This SEMH Teaching Assistant role entails working on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 student with challenging behaviour. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with this student, using a holistic approach in supporting their educational and individual needs, monitoring their progress and report it the SEMH Teacher. The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and have excellent behaviour management skills.
To be considered for this role, you must have an Enhanced DBS or willing to process one.
Must have access to your own transport due to school being in a remote location (beautiful surroundings to spend your working day in!)

Situated in Haywards Heath, this special school caters to students aged 6-11 with Social Emotional Mental Health, ASC and ADHD.
