Supply Desk are currently working closely with a ‘Good’ SEN Specialist Primary school in Gosport, Hampshire. The school are recognised within the local community as holding high standards and expectations for the children’s work and behaviour in and around the school. The quality of teaching in reading, writing and mathematics is consistently good around the school as the teachers are expect the children to work hard. The school is widely recognised as a place where positive relationships are formed and the children are well looked after. The ideal candidate would be expected to maintain the schools existing reputation.

The school are looking to recruit An EYFS teacher that has experience as a specialist in autism. As a teacher you would be expected to plan and prepare differentiated lesson plans that are suited to the classes’ abilities and deliver these to the class. You would be expected to work closely with the children in order to aid both their academic and personal development.

Person specification:

  • Must hold QTS
  • Experience with autism
  • Must have a proven track record of raising attainment
  • Good knowledge of national curriculum
  • Nurturing and caring personality
  • Must have a proactive approach to children’s learning
