Supply Desk are looking to recruit passionate and dynamic SEN teachers to work in primary and secondary schools across Torfaen and the surrounding area. Your job role would be covering short term and long term positions, working with children who have Special Educational Needs such as autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, Down’s syndrome and EBD. You will need to be passionate about ensuring that all children are able to reach their full learning potential in a safe and secure educational environment. You will also need to be forward thinking and engaging to deliver an exciting and rich curriculum. Excellent classroom management skills and a patient, caring approach are essential. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with young people and children with SEN and make a positive impact on their education and development. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers alike.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience of teaching children with SEN within mainstream or SEN schools
- Energetic and positive attitude
- QTS
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
