Job Description:
The role is full-time, starting at the beginning of the next academic year. The SEN Primary Teacher role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at supporting both students and teachers. You will actively engage in the learning and teaching process, collaborating closely with other teaching staff to assist in planning and delivering lessons across various subjects. Your role will involve providing personalised support to students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure they receive the attention and guidance necessary for their academic progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
– QTS
– Successful teaching experience with SEN children.
– Degree
– Talent for creating engaging and impactful lesson plans that capture student interest and promote deep understanding.
– Advanced training or experience in modern teaching methods and strategies, enhancing instructional effectiveness.
– Passionate for making a positive impact on the lives of young people, inspiring and motivating them to achieve their potential.
– Outstanding organisational and time management skills, ensuring a well-structured and efficient educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensuring every lesson aligns with national curriculum educational standards for comprehensive student development.
– Ensure an exceptional learning experience for pupils, meeting both internal and external quality standards.
– Continuously prepare and update engaging and relevant instructional materials.
– Utilise diverse and stimulating teaching methods that cater to the varied needs and demands of pupils.
– Demonstrate expertise in managing challenging behaviour, establishing appropriate boundaries while recognising the potential in all pupils.
– In-depth knowledge of safeguarding protocols to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment
– Foster good practices in punctuality, work standards, and home learning among pupils.
