About the Role:
The school are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for Key Stage 1 and 2 students. Your role will be pivotal in providing high-quality education and enhancing the outcomes for children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of various SEN types, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, and ADD.
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
- Comprehensive understanding of SEN
- Ability to assess and identify individual student strengths and weaknesses, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
