SEN Teaching Assistant in Slough
Hours: 33.5 hours per week, Monday 8.30am – 4.30pm; Tuesday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm – term time only
Are you interested in supporting young people with severe learning disabilities, including Autism? We are looking for a Special Teaching Assistants to support pupils who range from 2 – 19 years old. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils’ learning.
This generic special needs school and caters for pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties, PMLD, SLD, ASD and MLD. Abilities are wide ranging throughout the school.
Role requirements:
- Proffesional or personal experience caring for a person with SEN
- Enthusiasm and self motivation
- Strong own initiative and good time management
- Resilience and patience
- Physical ability to work in challenging enviroment
- Punctuality and consistency
Child and Adult DBS is required for a trial (cost £45). You will be required to provide documents (such as photo id and proof of address) to be able to participate in the trial.
