Supply Desk are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join a Secondary school in Salford as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This role has the potential to become permanent. If you have a passion for working with pupils that require it the most within a secondary School.

About the role…

  • Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Assist the development of individuals
  • Encourage pupils to interact, engage and work with others
  • Work with the class teacher and other staff members to provide an excellent learning environment
  • Work on a 1:1/small group basis with pupils who may have communication issues/disengaged

Further experience such as working with children with SEN/EAL would be beneficial

Person Specification…

  • SEN Teaching or assistant experience
  • Knowledge or behaviour and tendencies associated with Autism, ADHD or similar learning requirements
  • Have a proactive approach to assisting children’s learning
  • Ability to differentiate work to cater for children of all ability levels
