They are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to join their supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to provide engaging and effective support for students with ASD.

Take a holistic approach to meet the diverse needs of students by working with teachers, families, and external professionals.

Assist in creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans, Risk Assessments, and other tailored programmes to support student development.

Build strong, supportive relationships with students to foster their confidence and progress.

Provide one-to-one or small group support to ensure students’ specific needs are addressed effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or a strong desire to develop expertise in this area.

A deep understanding of ASD and enthusiasm for continued professional development.

Effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours with patience and resilience.

Commitment to working fixed days, whether full-time or part-time.

A clear and valid DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.

Relevant training and qualifications to support students with learning differences (e.g., Autism Awareness training).
