SEN Teaching Assistant
I am looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work with a group of SEN students at a primary school in the Batley area of Kirklees- the students are diagnosed with Autism. I am looking for a confident, pro-active individual who has experience working with students across KS1 & KS2 with ASD & SEMH.
The school is based in the WF17 area of Kirklees with a community ethos where the children are encouraged to challenge themselves, become independent learners and develop healthy relationships and ‘character for learning’ that will not only help them in their academic studies but also in life beyond school. The ideal candidate will share this ethos and be passionate about motivating and inspiring young people. The school is easily accessible with regular public transport links.
*Excellent rates of pay up to £90 per day*
Start date- 08/03/2021
The successful applicant must be pro-active, have the ability to use their own initiative to adapt to different student’s needs and have experience in a similar role working with students with additional needs. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher as well as leading small group tasks to encourage progression and learning.
You must have a DBS on the update service (we can assist with your applicaiton) and be able to provide references to cover the last 2 years.
