Do you have a passion for helping disadvantaged children?
Are you a teaching assistant with a vast amount of SEN experience, I am looking for an experienced special needs teaching assistant with strong behaviour management skills. You will be joining a well-established and successful primary school, Ofsted rated as ‘good’ and continuing to strive to become ‘outstanding’.
Working as an SEN teaching assistant is a very rewarding and challenging role which may include working one to one, with small groups or with a whole class in support of the teacher. Ideally you will have strong behaviour management skills, good communication skills, be flexible and a good team player yet self-motivated enough to use your own initiative when necessary. Qualifications are not essential and we are always happy to discuss your experience with you.
You should be:
• An effective communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
•Flexible and adaptable and able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
•Prepared to engage in professional development around speech and language
