Due to a huge increase in demand from our Caerphilly schools, I am looking to recruit Sport and PE specialists and sports coaches to start work immediately in secondary schools across Caerphilly and the surrounding areas as unqualified/cover teachers. As a PE subject specialist, this is the main subject you will be asked to cover. However, there will also be some general cover required which will help you gain subject knowledge across a range of topics.
By working as a cover supervisor you will be responsible for delivering lessons, following planning left by a subject specialist teacher. There will be no planning or marking involved but you do get the experience of understanding how it feels to deliver a lesson as a teacher!
Your role will initially be covering day to day and short term positions in schools as an unqualified teacher to ensure that pupils receive a consistently high level of education in a safe and stimulating learning environment.

What you’ll need to succeed
- At least 6 weeks experience working with children desirable
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Be educated to degree level
- EWC registration or willing to apply
- Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
- Access to own vehicle desirable
