Teacher of History – Herne Bay

Supply Desk is actively seeking enthusiastic and engaging History Teachers to work in our client schools in the Herne Bay and wider Kent area. Roles include short-term supply, temporary and potentially permanent cover. Full-time and part-time candidates, NQTs and Experienced Teachers welcome to apply! 

The role:

–          Working with students across KS3, KS4 and KS5

–          Planning, delivering and marking schemes of work in History all secondary key stages

–          Working closely with others in the Department

–          Engaging with the students and the work they are undertaking

–          Building rapport with the students and others within the school

–          Following the policies of the school

Ideal candidate:

–          Self-motivated

–          Be passionate about teaching and possess the ability to engage and inspire pupils

–          Hold QTS or QTLS

–          Excellent subject knowledge

–          Have proven track-record of success in raising results

–          Have good behaviour management

–          Flexible and adaptable

–          Organised

–          Have good interpersonal and communication skills
