SEMH Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start/

Haywards Heath, West Sussex – £64.12 to £78.96 per day – SEMH School

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant required to work in an SEMH school
  • Must have experience working with challenging behaviour
  • SEMH Teaching Assistant required to work in West Sussex
  • Required to start as soon as possible (notice periods are taken into account)

The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant

This SEMH Teaching Assistant role entails working on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 student with challenging behaviour. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with this student, using a holistic approach in supporting their educational and individual needs, monitoring their progress and report it the SEMH Teacher. The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour and have excellent behaviour management skills.

To be considered for this role, you must have an Enhanced DBS or willing to process one.

Must have access to your own transport due to school being in a remote location (beautiful surroundings to spend your working day in!)

Situated in Haywards Heath, this special school caters to students aged 6-11 with Social Emotional Mental Health.
