Textiles Teacher – Design and Technology
Textiles Teacher Required (KS3-5) – Harrow– September 2020 ASAP start – Full Time
Supply Desk is currently seeking a qualified Textiles Teacher for an academy catering for pupils aged 11-18 in at a lovely pupil centred Secondary school in the Harrow area.
This is a full time role starting in September 2020 and will continue through until the end of the academic year with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal Textiles Teacher will be a specialist and able to teach up to A Level. As a minimum you will be able to deliver textiles lessons to students in key stage 3 and 4 and have previous experience teaching in a secondary school environment. This role requires full teaching responsibility including planning, marking and assessment. You will also be required to contribute to the extra cirricular time table and attend parents evenings.
In order to be considered for this roleas a Textiles Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor of Education PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
- Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
- Be a textiles specialist
- NQTs and/or Over seas trained teachers to UK equivilent are welcome to apply
- Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa/right to work)
