Vocational Technician Needed in Bradford
VOCATIONAL TECHNICIAN – BRADFORD
I am looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic vocational technician to support teaching and learning in Design & Technology, Art, Food Technology and IT lessons. This is a full time post to start immediately, until the end of the academic year in the first instance but has the positional to lead onto a permanent contract with the school.
Our client is an average sized secondary school located in Bradford. The school is situated to the east of Bradford and is easily accessible by car, bike or public transport.
Duties will include:
- Preparing equipment and teaching areas for practical classes
- Maintaining equipment and teaching areas
- Ensuring a safe environment
- Supporting teachers in practical classes
- Helping students to get the most of their learning experiences
- Carrying out administrative support and other functions related to the smooth running of the department
The successful candidate will need to be an enthusiastic and flexible individual with good organisational skills, confident and be able to work off their own initiative. Experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
*RATES OF PAY FROM £65 PER DAY*
– You MUST have a DBS that is on the update service
– Able to provide references for the last 2 years
– Attend a registration interview
