Welsh Language Graduates / Specialists

Jobs in Schools for Welsh Language Graduates / Specialists – Caerphilly

Are you a recent or future Welsh Language graduate looking to work in Caerphilly schools as an unqualified teacher? Maybe you are looking for a career change but have a strong Welsh knowledge which could be put to excellent use in the classroom? Perhaps you are already an experienced school cover supervisor?

I am looking to recruit Welsh Language specialists to work in secondary schools across Caerphilly and the surrounding areas as unqualified/cover teachers. As a Welsh Language subject specialist, this is the main subject you will be asked to cover. However, there will also be some general cover required which will help you gain subject knowledge across a range of topics.

Becoming a cover supervisor is a great way of gaining experience in the classroom if you are looking to pursue a career in teaching. By working as a cover supervisor you will be responsible for delivering lessons, following planning left by a subject specialist teacher. There will be no planning or marking involved but you do get the experience of understanding how it feels to deliver a lesson as a teacher!

Your role will initially be covering day to day and short term positions in schools as an unqualified teacher to ensure that pupils receive a consistently high level of education in a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Whether you are looking for a full time, part time or flexible role, we would love to hear from you and help you to progress forward in your career.
