Are you passionate about working with pupils with additional needs?

We have a wonderful autistic boy in Y2, who is an absolute delight and is very bright. However, he has (currently undiagnosed) PDA – Pathalogical Demand Avoidance – he will refuse to be in class and refuse to do his work. He has huge emotional meltdowns and becomes inconsolable.

We are looking for a support worker who must have relevant experience, perhaps gained in a specialist unit. They will need an SEN background, with a sound knowledge of autism. We are also looking for strong behaviour skills and experience of challenging children.

Initially, we are looking for mornings only.

Any CVs will be gratefully received.

About the School:

The school are graded as good in their last Ofsted and it is in a lovely rural setting. We already work with the school on a regular basis with excellent feedback always coming back from our staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with learning difficulties including MLD and SLD or ASC. Also experience of working with a Primary aged pupil would be beneficial.

Any CVs will be gratefully received.
