This school is looking for a Year 3 Primary teacher to develop their diverse portfolio of teachers and teaching styles. The ideal candidate:
- Good communication skills are vital for effective interaction with both students and parents. Clear and open communication helps build positive relationships and ensures parents are well-informed about their child’s progress
- Successful Year 3 teachers create a positive and organised learning environment. They implement clear and consistent behaviour expectations while fostering a supportive atmosphere
- A good Year 3 teacher should be adaptable to the diverse learning needs of students and be able to modify teaching strategies as necessary
- A solid understanding of the curriculum and subject matter for Year 3 is essential. This includes proficiency in numeracy, literacy, science, and other relevant subjects
Qualifications required:
- Certified teacher (QTS)
- Candidates should have a proven track record of successful teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 2, and specifically in Year 3 or a similar age group
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2, with a focus on the Year 3 curriculum, is essential.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, analysing student progress, and providing timely and constructive feedback. Familiarity with the reporting procedures in accordance with school policies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance the overall school community
- Has professional references and an Enhanced DBS check
