Behaviour Mentor – Slough – Full-Time May Start
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Supply Desk is working closely with a supportive and inclusive school in Slough, who are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with behavioural, emotional, and social needs, and who believes in positive relationships, consistency, and early intervention.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and re‑engage positively with school life.
In this role, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
- Help students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and positive coping strategies
- Support behaviour management both in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies
- Act as a positive role model, promoting high expectations and consistency
- Monitor progress and help pupils re-integrate successfully into lessons
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a Behaviour Mentor who is patient, proactive, and confident working with challenging behaviour.
You will ideally:
- Have experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs
- Be calm, consistent, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
- Have strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Be resilient and confident managing challenging situations
- Have experience in education, youth work, care, or mentoring (desirable but not essential)
