About the Role
Supply Desk is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Southampton. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning while maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively.

Support students across a range of subjects.

Ensure learning objectives are met during teacher absence.

Build positive relationships with students and staff.

Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Candidate Requirements

Degree-level education preferred.

Experience working with young people.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Confident classroom presence.

Flexible and proactive approach.

DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
