Salary: £100-£165 daily rate

We are working with a supportive and well‑run secondary school in Burnham seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll supervise classes using pre-set lesson plans, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day.
You will:
- Supervise lessons across a range of subjects using prepared resources
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Create a positive, calm, and respectful learning environment
- Support pupils with tasks and ensure work is completed
- Build quick, professional relationships with students and staff
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be confident leading a classroom and able to adapt quickly to different situations.
- Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, coaching, etc.)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Calm, confident, and professional presence
- Reliable, flexible, and organised
- A genuine interest in education and pupil development
No QTS required — full guidance and support provided.
