Secondary Design & Technology Teacher in the Chichester area

Pay – £160.86 – £260 per day (depending on experience)

Location – Southampton

Hours – 8am – 4PM

About the role:

Supply Desk are working with a Secondary School based in the Chichester area that are seeking a Design & Technology teacher to support students in Key Stage 3 and 4 full time. The role will be teaching all elements of Design Technology with some general cover with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge in all areas, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. The role is suitable for an experienced Art & Design teacher seeking a long-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in an education setting.

The School is a mixed Secondary School based in the Chichester area for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1000 students in total. The School comes with a Good reputation and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values. The school also provides free onsite parking

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a committed team player
  • Proven track record of raising attainment
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be able to deliver Art & Design in a fun and engaging way that students can relate 
  • ·         Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
  • You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils.
