Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised EHCP Coordinator to join a successful and supportive sixth form college in the Fareham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in SEND, student support, education administration, or EHCP coordination who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.

You will play a key role in managing the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process, ensuring statutory requirements are met while supporting students with additional needs throughout their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of students with EHCPs and High Needs funding.
  • Coordinate and oversee the annual review process, ensuring all reviews are completed within statutory deadlines.
  • Arrange and chair Annual Review meetings with parents, carers, students, college staff and external professionals.
  • Gather and collate feedback from all parties involved in the EHCP process.
  • Prepare, complete and distribute annual review documentation to a high standard.
  • Ensure all records, reports and returns are accurate and submitted within required legal timescales.
  • Support teaching and support staff in understanding EHCP requirements and review processes.
  • Liaise effectively with local authorities, external agencies, parents, carers and college staff.
  • Monitor compliance and maintain accurate student records and documentation.
  • Provide cover for colleagues when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with EHCPs, SEND provision, student support, pastoral care, or educational administration.
  • Strong understanding of Annual Review processes and statutory guidance.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and professionals.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience within a school, college, local authority or SEND setting is highly desirable.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting young people with additional needs.
