Salary: £34,000–£56,000+

Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and supportive school in Hemel Hempstead seeking a dedicated A-Level Teacher to join their successful sixth form team.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching to post-16 students, fostering academic excellence and encouraging independent learning. You will create engaging lessons that challenge students, deepen subject knowledge, and support outstanding outcomes in external examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality A-Level lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students.
• Support students in developing advanced subject knowledge, critical thinking, and independent study skills.
• Monitor student progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention.
• Prepare students for examinations and support progression to university, apprenticeships, and future career pathways.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious learning environment where students can achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
• A degree in the relevant subject area alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching at Key Stage 5 and/or A-Level is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate, challenge, and support students to achieve excellent outcomes.
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
