We are seeking an experience Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 while encouraging students to think critically and develop strong analytical skills.
You will become part of a welcoming Humanities department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting positive student outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Encouraging curiosity and independent thinking
• Supporting curriculum planning and lesson development
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies
• Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities
• Creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting wider school and departmental initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and challenge learners
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Organised, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
